Thrive Limitlessly H1 2025 Recap: Momentum in Motion
If there’s one word to sum up the first half of 2025 for Thrive Limitlessly, it’s motion—intentional, purpose-filled motion. From speaking engagements to personal transitions, from cross-country travel to digital launches, we’ve moved with heart, vision, and clarity. The work we’re doing is not just about showing up in spaces—it’s about transforming them. We don’t just talk about thriving; we live it. As we take a deep breath at the midpoint of the year, we’re celebrating all that’s unfolded—and looking ahead with hope and momentum.
Speaking and Traveling: A Season of Voice and Visibility
This year has been an incredible one for visibility, connection, and elevation. Our speaking engagements stretched across industries, cities, and topics—but the thread that tied them together was transformation. We began in January in Sacramento with Beauty Boost: Design Your Life, a vibrant space for women to reconnect with their purpose and reimagine their path. In February, we headed to Arizona for the Empowered Hearts Summit, where we led a powerful conversation on professional development in the workplace—an urgent and ever-evolving topic that sparked meaningful dialogue. March took us to Dallas for the Creative Educator Conference. While we didn’t speak at this one, the experience was just as impactful. We connected with fellow entrepreneurs and soaked up strategies on business growth, maximizing ROI within teams, and using video to build authority. The insights gained there will be fueling our content and coaching well into the year.
April was a whirlwind, starting with the Thrive & Transform Summit in Portland, where we talked about career transitions and wellness—two areas where our audience consistently seeks support. Later that month, we traveled to Bakersfield for the Women’s Leadership Conference, where we delivered one of our favorite keynotes to date: Unleash Your Inner CEO: Embracing the Winner Mindset for Leadership. This message resonated deeply with leaders ready to rewrite their own stories of power and presence. In May, we had the honor of speaking at the ERG Leadership Summit at CircleCI in San Francisco, diving into the real work of scaling ERGs and driving employee engagement with intention. We closed the month at Gusto’s Women in Tech event with a timely talk on Turning Conflict into Collaboration: Navigating Difficult Conversations as Women in Tech—a session filled with vulnerability, strategy, and practical takeaways.
In between all the stages, there was travel—both business and personal—that added depth and perspective to our season. Every destination brought connection, reflection, and a renewed understanding of what it means to thrive holistically—not just in work, but in life. Along the way, we had the privilege of meeting and collaborating with phenomenal entrepreneurs who are making waves in their own spaces. From Soluna Career Consulting and its powerful resources to inspiring new connections with Alondra Canizal Hsu, and Cierra Conerly-Sims, Founder of BOSSIS Management Solutions—we’re building relationships that fuel us and stretch us. These women are building legacy, just like we are, and we’re honored to walk alongside them in this work. As we continue to connect and collaborate, we’re reminded that community isn’t built overnight—but it is built by showing up consistently with intention. Reminded that community isn’t built overnight—but it is built by showing up consistently with intention.
Digital Products and Community Building: Tools for Transformation
Alongside our speaking and traveling, we leaned into building sustainable, accessible resources for our growing community. This spring, we launched two digital products designed to meet people exactly where they are: the Layoff Survival Kit and the LinkedIn Audit Checklist. The Layoff Survival Kit is more than a guide—it’s a lifeline for professionals navigating career transitions. It offers both emotional grounding and strategic planning, because we know that the path forward after a layoff requires both. The LinkedIn Audit Checklist helps professionals align their digital presence with their true value—because your online profile is often your first impression, and it should reflect the powerful work you do.
At the same time, we’ve been quietly and intentionally building something we’re incredibly excited about: Thrive Tribe, our upcoming online community. This isn’t just a Facebook group or a Slack space—it’s a curated membership experience designed for professionals who are ready to rise, lead, and grow in community. We launched the waitlist in Q2, and the interest has been both humbling and energizing. Thrive Tribe will be a space for deeper connection, focused development, and resource-sharing. It’s the natural next step in creating a thriving ecosystem around the Thrive Limitlessly mindset, and we’re so excited to open doors later this year.
Website Growth and Speaker Reel: Defining Who We Are
With all the motion happening externally, we also took time to sharpen our internal brand foundation. We rolled out a website refresh and repositioned our messaging to reflect who we are now—and who we’re becoming. Thrive Limitlessly has always been about more than coaching or consulting. It’s about helping people transform the way they think about possibility. With our updated website, we’ve leaned into clarity, storytelling, and service. It’s clean, vibrant, and aligned with our message: You don’t have to choose between success and self—you can have both.
One of our proudest projects in progress is our speaker reel, which we’ve been developing in collaboration with a talented local videographer in Sacramento named CJ. He was introduced to us through a friend, and from the start, it was clear he understood our vision. The speaker reel is not just a highlight of what we’ve done—it’s an embodiment of what we stand for. It captures our voice, our presence, and the heartbeat behind every message we deliver. A very special thank you goes to Yohanna, our brilliant Brand Manager, who lent her voice to the reel with grace and power. Huge appreciation also goes to Nakoa, our Chief of Staff, for guiding the creative process and supporting the thought leadership that shapes our presence. This reel is coming soon—and we can’t wait to share it with you. It’s a visual declaration of our purpose: Thrive Limitlessly is more than a name. It’s a way of thinking, a way of being, and a way of living—one that transforms challenge into clarity and limitation into liberation.
A Season of Connection and Experimentation
In many ways, this season has been about stretching creatively and showing up in new, sometimes uncomfortable ways. We leaned into Instagram Live as a storytelling tool and launched our first-ever live content series. These weren’t just content drops—they were invitations to deeper connection. Every conversation was an opportunity to speak truth, hold space, and offer guidance, encouragement, or just real talk to the people in our community. As we experimented with live video, we were reminded that connection doesn’t come from perfection—it comes from presence.
Showing up on camera wasn’t always easy. There were nerves, stumbles, and moments of vulnerability. But through it all, we committed to being authentic. We didn’t want to just say the right things—we wanted to say the real things. We challenged ourselves to be seen, to let people in, and to connect on a more human level. Whether we were going live solo or in conversation with a guest, we focused on being honest, grounded, and intentional. We believe that vulnerability is a leadership skill—and our IG Lives became a training ground for living that truth out loud.
Across six incredible episodes, we were joined by amazing guests—all of whom generously volunteered their time to show up on camera and share their stories. Their willingness to be seen, speak candidly, and hold space for others was a gift to our audience and a powerful reflection of what it means to build community with intention and care.
In Q1, we launched Black Women in Corporate America, a powerful series focused on empowering Black women to redefine success and navigate professional spaces on their own terms. The feedback was profound—proof that these stories need to be told. In Q2, we followed up with Unapologetic About You, a bold exploration of identity, voice, and owning your journey in a world that often asks you to shrink. These series helped us connect with our audience in a new, unfiltered way and sparked conversations that extended far beyond the screen.
Family, Caregiving, and the Season of Both/And
Amid all the professional progress, this season also brought deeply personal change. Our family dynamic has shifted in a way that has been both beautiful and challenging. My 91-year-old grandmother has come to live with us here in California, and for the first time in a long time, we are all under one roof—four generations strong. The house is louder, fuller, more chaotic, and somehow more grounded than it’s ever been. While the shift into caregiving hasn’t been easy—it’s been filled with logistical hurdles, emotional weight, and constant adjustment—it has also been profoundly meaningful. There’s something magical about watching my 2.5-year-old bring joy, light, and energy to my grandmother’s days. Their bond, forged across nearly a century, is a reminder of what truly matters: love, connection, and presence.
This is the reality of the sandwich generation—caring for elders while raising children, all while running a business and holding space for a community. It’s exhausting and overwhelming at times, but also filled with grace. I’ve had to learn how to hold both—the heaviness and the beauty, the stress and the sweetness. This season has redefined what “thriving” means to me. It’s not always about doing more—it’s about being more present. More intentional. More rooted in what’s real. And in the daily dance between work and family, I’m learning to embrace the tension and trust that I’m exactly where I need to be.
In Motion, With Meaning
We’re not slowing down—but we are committed to pausing when needed, taking small but meaningful breaks, and celebrating the wins along the way. This season has reminded us that progress isn’t just about pushing forward—it’s about acknowledging how far we’ve come and honoring those who’ve helped us get here. To every supporter, collaborator, guest, and friend who’s walked with us this year—thank you. Your encouragement, time, and energy mean the world. We’re just getting started, and we’re so grateful to have you with us on this journey of thriving without limits.
